This program features extensive live performance footage, television appearances, and music videos that capture the genius of alternative rock band Galaxie 500. Included are performances at the Cambridge, Massachusetts Middle East, featuring previously unreleased material Back in Your Life and Buzz in My Head, the Kennel Club in San Francisco, and Club Lingerie in Hollywood. Also featured are two full 1990 concerts, recorded in Atlanta and London.
Boston's Galaxie 500, from 1987-1991, produced transcendent, moody rock that placed them at the forefront of the shoegazer and slowcore movements popularized by bands like My Bloody Valentine and Slowdive.
